Everest comes out of an exceptionally good bloodline, from the ranch of Al Deutsch (Idaho).
The great and famous Tom Dooley and Hinkley are Everest’s sire and dam.
He’s large, robust, with a great disposition, massive humps and big barrel belly. A serious bull camel.
Everest is currently 5 + years of age.
Typically, Bactrian camels’ breeding activity takes place through the winter months, with conception usually occurring late in the winter. This sees the calves being born about 12 to 14 months later in the early spring.
However, breeding can occur at any time of the year, even outside the typical winter breeding phase.
